Recorded in New York City on October 19, 1934 featuring Alex Hill (arranger & vocals), John Thomas and Benny Carter (trumpets), Claude Jones (trombone), George James (alto sax), Gene Sedric (tenor sax), Garnet Clark (piano), Eddie Gibbs (guitar), Billy Taylor (bass), and harry Dial (drums).

Alex Hill was a pianist who wrote arrangements for some of the big names in jazz during the swing era and at one point even led the Ellington Orchestra in the Duke's absence.

His best known recordings were made at a single session with Eddie Condon's Orchestra in 1933 and he became staff arranger for Mills Music Company the following year.
