This recording was made in New York in 1930 by Cab Calloway's Orchestra.

*Calloway's Orchestra was hired by the Cotton Club in 1930 to replace Duke Ellington and his Orchestra while they were on tour.

*The Calloway Band proved so popular that they shared the title of "house band" at The Cotton Club with Ellington's group, and would also begin their own nationwide tour.
