This recording was produced in New York City on October 12, 1931 by "Cab Calloway with his Orchestra" featuring Cab Calloway, director & vocals.
Managed by Irving Mills the Calloway Orchestra rapidly gained enormous popularity greatly enhanced by bi-weekly national NBC radio broadcasts live from the Cotton Club with the Duke Ellington Band. The same year that he cut his most famous record "Minnie the Moocher", a jivin' Cab also engaged in this irresistibly over exuberant outing.
