Recorded in Chicago in 1936 featuring Charlie McCoy (mandolin & vocals), Joe McCoy (guitar), Herb Morand (trumpet), Odell Rand (clarinet), John Lindsay (bass) Horace Malcolm (piano), and Freddy Flynn (drums).

The "Harlem Hamfats" were formed in Chicago in 1936 by producer J. Mayo Williams to function solely as a recording unit. In spite of their name none of this band's members were from New York.
