This recording was made in Chicago by vocalist Mildred Bailey on March 23, 1937.
*"Rockin' Chair" was composed by Hoagy Carmichael.
Mildred made her recording debut as an un-credited vocalist for the Eddie Lang Orchestra's 1929 recording of an obscure Hoagy Carmichael song titled "What Kind O' Man Is You?" Her next appearance on record came the following year singing "I Like To Do Things For You" with Frankie Trumbauer.
