This footage featuring Sidney Bechet and company performing the tunes "St. Louis Blues," and "American Rhythm" was filmed on January 6, 1958 at the Alhambra Theater in Paris, roughly one year before his death in the Spring of 1959.

The personall was as follows: Sidney Bechet, soprano sax; Roalnd Hug and Marcel Bornstein, trumpets; Jean-Louis Durand, trombone; Andre Reweliotty, clarinet; Yannick Singery, piano; Georges Halluin, string bass; and Kansas Fields, drums.
