This recording was made in New York City by New Orleans trumpeter and vocalist Wingy Manone with his Orchestra on December 18, 1935.

Born Joseph Matthews Mannone in New Orleans, Louisiana the loss of an arm in a streetcar accident, resulted in his nickname of "Wingy." Monone used a prosthesis which he handled so naturally that his disability was not apparent to the public.
